PAINTLESS DENT REPAIR 

Paintless Dent Repair (PDR) is a process, developed by automobile manufacturing production teams, that uses specialized hand tools to gently push the dented metal back to its original form. This permanently removes door dings and minor dents without harming the factory finish of the members vehicle. Repairable areas are defined as and limited to exterior vertical body panels repairable within the limits of Paintless Dent Repair (PDR) inspected and approved by an authorized PDR technician. If the damage to the vehicle is not repairable by PDR methods, no benefit is provided. Damage caused by any vehicle in motion is excluded from coverage. Such damage may be directed to the members comprehensive insurance policy. The member must call our Customer Care Team PRIOR to any repair work being performed.

Paintless Dent Repair Description:

This service provides the member with a Paintless Dent Repair benefit from date of purchase. To arrange for PDR repair under this membership, the member must first call to obtain prior authorization. Once authorization is granted, the member will be contacted by one of our Certified Technicians. The member may not seek service from any other vendor, or receive any provision of service under this membership, without prior approval. We will have fulfilled our obligations after an examination of the vehicle and an explanation is given for any dent(s) not repairable using PDR or if the damaged area cannot be completely repaired by the PDR process. Any damage that our Certified Technician determines cannot be repaired by the PDR process is excluded from coverage. We retain sole authority to determine whether the damage can be repaired using the PDR process.

Tire Hazard Protection

If the members tires incur damage from a road hazard, we will pay the member, per occurrence, a maximum of $65.00 for each tire repair. If not repairable, no benefit will be provided. Tire Hazard Coverage Description:

All Tire Hazard claims must be submitted within 45-days of the Tire Hazard incident for reimbursement to occur. VEHICLE REPAIR ASSISTANCE

Repair Tech Assistance:

Members can call our Repair Assist ASE-Certified Automotive Technician Team for their unbiased advice on their vehicle as often as they need. The Repair Assist specialist will assist with all their basic auto repair questions; whether relating to vehicle servicing and maintenance schedules, manufacturers’ recall notices and technical service bulletins or just inquiries concerning what could be wrong with their vehicle. Many members also call to discuss replacement or new parts pricing for items as varied as tires, GPS systems, C/D players, etc.

Repair Advocate Assistance:

Should the members vehicle experience a mechanical failure; they can call us for technical assistance and a diagnosis of what issues may be afflicting their vehicle. If repairs are necessary, a Repair Assist specialist can still help by suggesting a qualified repair facility to assist, and regardless of which facility they choose, still advocate on the members behalf. When a Repair Assist specialist performs a mechanical failure audit of the members vehicle and speaks with a service repair industry representative on the members behalf, three questions are of utmost importance: (a) Is the vehicle being properly diagnosed? (b) Does the repair facility’s estimated cost to repair the vehicle represent a fair price? and, (c) Is the vehicle at the right type of facility given the nature of the repair? Our Repair Assist specialists always approach the repair facility representative in a positive and professional manner and, more importantly, as a colleague who knows the business as well as they do.

Auto Repair Discount:

Our Repair Assist specialists can help the member save on the cost of necessary repairs to their vehicle. Members can save up to twenty percent (20%) [up to a maximum of five-hundred dollars ($500.00) per occurrence or during Your Membership period] should their vehicle become inoperable and require repairs: (a) at least thirty (30) days after the Membership’s Effective Date, or (b) after one-thousand (1,000) miles have been added to the vehicles Current Odometer Reading as recorded on the Membership application, whichever comes first, subject to the following exclusions: Repairs because of loss or damage resulting from any cause other than normal use and operation of the eligible vehicle for which the vehicle was designed per the manufacturer’s guidelines; damage to or failure of a product used for commercial purposes; acts of God; fire, lightning, hail and wind; theft, collision, misuse, or abuse; repairs to upgrade or improve the vehicle; cleaning or preventative maintenance required to maintain normal operation of the vehicle; any charges other than parts and labor; repairs for routine maintenance such as oil changes, fluid changes, tires, tire rotation, tire balancing or alignment; repairs made outside the United States.

This benefit does not include an appeal or bond of any kind.

Traffic Court Defense:

Covers the cost of repairs to the front windshield ONLY of minor chips and cracks caused by propelled rocks or other propelled road debris. There is no coverage for stress cracks, cracks over six (6) inches in length, or any damage wherein it is determined by the repair technician that the damage cannot be repaired. Uninsured Motorist Benefit:

We will pay up to $100 for legal services required if you are in an accident with an uninsured motorist.

Benefits for loss of life will be paid to the beneficiary the member has designated. If the member has not designated a beneficiary, the loss-of-life benefit will be paid to the survivors, in equal shares, in the first of the following classes to have a survivor at the member’s death: (1) spouse, (2) children, (3) parents, (4) brothers and sisters. If there is no survivor in these classes, payment will be made to the member’s estate.

Coverage applies when the member is riding as a passenger (not the operator, pilot, or crew member) in or on, or boarding or alighting from, a common carrier. Common Carrier means a conveyance operated by a concern, other than the Policyholder, organized and licensed for the transportation of passengers for hire and operated by an employee of that concern. Benefits for loss of life will be paid to the beneficiary the member has designated. If the member has not designated a beneficiary, the loss-of-life benefit will be paid to the survivors, in equal shares, in the first of the following classes to have a survivor at the member’s death: (1) spouse, (2) children, (3) parents, (4) brothers and sisters. If there is no survivor in these classes, payment will be made to the member’s estate.

Bail Bond Benefit:

We will assist in arranging a bail bond with a bonding company of member’s choice if member is charged in an accident in which someone is injured or killed. We will pay the bondman’s fees of up to 10% of the face of the bail bond set up to a maximum of $1,000. We do not agree to be a surety or a guarantor on bail bonds of any kind.

Personal Defense Fees Benefit:

If the member is charged with manslaughter due to an auto accident, we will pay the attorney of the member’s choice up to $250 to defend him/her in a preliminary hearing. The member is eligible for up to $250 for each subsequent hearing or trial, not to exceed $750 per incident.

    • Benefits Included

    Towing Assistance:

    When towing is necessary, the member’s vehicle will be towed to a qualified repair facility, or to the location specified by the customer.

    Extrication Assistance:

    Aids with extricating the covered vehicle when stuck in a ditch, or other inaccessible area, in which such location is within 50 feet of a paved maintained road or highway.

    Flat Tire Assistance:

    Service consists of the replacement of a flat tire with the vehicle’s spare tire. Towing assistance will be provided if necessary.

    Oil, Fluid and Water Delivery Service:

    An emergency supply of oil, fluid and water will be delivered to any member in immediate need. The member must pay for costs of the fluids if applicable

    Fuel Delivery Service:

    An emergency supply of fuel will be delivered to any member in immediate need. Up to three (3) gallons of fuel will be delivered. The member must pay for costs of the fuel.

    Battery Assistance:

    Battery assistance (Jump–Start) will be provided to any member in immediate need.

    Lock-Out Assistance

    Assistance will be provided in gaining entry to a member’s vehicle if the keys are lost or locked inside.
